Welcome to the Halperin Park project updates page. Here, you’ll find the latest information on our construction progress and funding milestones as we work towards completing this transformative community space.

Monthly Construction Update

  • Porcelain pavers are now being installed on the roof of the Pavilion.

  • Traffic coating work has started on the ramp.

  • The children’s play area is nearly complete — play surfacing will finish this week, and landscaping is done.

  • Installation of light poles along the Promenade is underway.

  • All stainless-steel railings are now complete at the ramp, Zoo Landing, and Pavilion roof.

  • The Pavilion’s exterior is finished, and brick paver work along the Promenade will wrap up by next week.

  • Precast benches are being installed throughout the park.

  • The Pavilion elevator is complete, and metal panel installation on the elevator tower is ongoing.

  • Testing of the rain curtain water feature continues.

  • The Icon Towers are now fully installed, with power and A/V work in progress.

  • The site is taking shape beautifully as we move closer to completion!
