Welcome to the Halperin Park project updates page. Here, you’ll find the latest information on our construction progress and funding milestones as we work towards completing this transformative community space.

Monthly Construction Update

  • Tree planting is ongoing throughout the park.

  • Band shell roofing installation is underway.

  • Pavilion window installation is nearly complete.

  • Ceramic tile work has begun in the restrooms.

  • Icon towers along Ewing are scheduled for installation in September.

  • Children’s playground fencing is nearly finished.

  • Playground equipment installation will begin this month.

  • Ceilings are being painted in the Pavilion and restrooms under the Ramp.

  • Flagstone pavers in the children’s playground will be completed this month.

  • Guardrails are being installed along the Ramp, with Pavilion roof installation starting soon.

  • Concrete stairs at the Amphitheatre are complete, and terrace seating will be finished this month.

  • Cladding (GFRC) continues along the Ramp and Pavilion and is expected to be complete within six weeks.
