Welcome to the Halperin Park project updates page. Here, you’ll find the latest information on our construction progress and funding milestones as we work towards completing this transformative community space.

Monthly Construction Update

  • Currently installing the air and water barriers at the pavilion and the construction team has also begun the same work at the elevator tower. 

  • The outer walls of the pavilion are fully framed and sealed.

  • Painters are staining the large wooden beams and ceiling panels at the pavilion.

  • Plumbing, electrical, and other behind-the-scenes systems are being installed at the pavilion, and the fire protection work is done.

  • The fountain equipment for the Rain Curtain is being set up in the pump room.

  • After passing inspection, the construction team has started building the elevator fronts and adding weatherproof panels.

  • The pavilion’s roof installation started on May 27 and will be finished in mid-June. The elevator tower roof is already weatherproofed.

  • Waterproofing is done in the underground tank for the Rain Curtain, and piping work will continue into next week.
