Our Progress

Welcome to the Halperin Park project updates page. Here, you’ll find the latest information on our construction progress and funding milestones as we work towards completing this transformative community space.

Monthly Construction Update

  •  The Pavilion roof is complete, and ceilings will be installed this month.

  • Interior walls are framed, utilities are in, and painting is up next.

  • Pavilion windows will be installed within the next 45 days.

  • GFRC cladding continues along the ramp.

  • Concrete seat walls and stairs are being poured at the Amphitheatre.

  • The Band Shell canopy is up—lighting and fire protection are in progress, and roofing begins mid-July.

  • Pavers for the 12th Street Promenade start mid-July and will take about 6 weeks.

  • Fencing for the children’s playground will go in within the next 30 days.

  • Trees continue to be planted throughout the site.
